Kain Faustus, known also as The Black Wind, is traveling Mercenary and a Human, although Cursed. Currently he works with Phantom Legion, a group that wishes to eliminate the Holy Knights. He is really talented swordsman, and always a single-bladed swords with him. He is one of Nine Circles, Representing 6th Circle, "Heresy".
Appearance[]
Kain has light purple eyes, olive skin and black hair. He is often seen wearing his black, hooded jacket with ornate shoulder pieces, black metal boots and braces. He has Communication Orb strapped on his belt. On his right hand, under armor, is his Symbol stating his rank as one of Nine Circles. He always carries at least one sword with him.
Personality[]
Kain is cold and distant person who prefers working alone, away from other members of Phantom Legion. He dislikes noisy places so he rarely visits cities. He is quite apathetic towards people in need, though will sometimes lend a hand - usually out of boredom.
Kain is not religious and states often "There is no god" and that goddess clan are "worse than the demons".

Enchantment: Kain's natural magical power. It allows him to enchant anything with physical mass with different attributes. Ability isn't limited to benefical buffs, as there are also enchantments that hinder his opponents. While there are large variety of Enchantments, they are temporary and end after sometime or when enchanted object is broken. Effects on the user last longer, however.
- Enchant - Element Blade: Variation of Enchantment where Kain surrounds his weapon with an elemental aura, such as fire, ice, wind, thunder or even hellfire - although last one deteriorates his weapons at rapid pace.
- Enchant - Physical Boost: Enchantment that increases ones physical stats. Technique does come with side-effects on prolonged uses, including with aching muscle pains.
- Curse Enchant - Fragile: Enchantment that decreases durability of weapons and armor drasticly.
- Enchant - Disguise: More of a visual enchantment, that allows Kain to change his appearence, although not much. He cannot alter his height, weight or gender with this spell.
- Enchant - Camoflague: Enchantment that alters Kain's Yliaster to blend into surrounding area almost perfectly, though sensory magic would still give him away.
- Enchant - Attraction: Kain enchants objects with magnetic field, causing object to pull metal towards it. Extreme heat can undo the enchantment.
- Blade Funeral: Combination of Enchantment and his coats Arsenal. Kain starts by spreading several copies of his blade to the surrounding area, before striking his enemy, marking them with "Enchant - Attraction", causing all blades he created to fly at the victim. He can further add power to the technique by pre-preparing the blades with Enchant - Element Blade.
Full Counter: A technique Faust picked up from the Demon Clan. Full Counter enables its wielder to reflect attacks aimed at them back at their enemy, but with more than double the power; therefore, the stronger the opponent's powers are, the stronger the user's power becomes. However, there are also many drawbacks to Full Counter: the user cannot initiate any attacks themselves, and they would not be able to reflect attacks if the opponent does not allow them to read the nature and timing of their attacks. Kain knows two variations of the technique - one to repel Physical Attacks, one against Magical Attacks. However, he can only use one at a time, and has habit to use each one with different hand, or and is unable to use Revenge Counter.
- Physical Rebound: Usually used by swinging weapon in his right hand; allows Kain to reflect physical attack back at the attacker as wave of magic, causing the damage from their attack appear in their bodies instead.
- Magic Reflection: With weapon on his left hand, Kain can reflect magical attacks back against their sender. However, Kain is not skilled enough to perform Counter Vanish.
Immortality Curse: In ages past, Kain angered the Supreme Deity, and was cursed with Eternal Life: A curse that revives the victim without fail regardless of the means of death, including suicide or getting killed, no matter how many times they die. It additionally prevents the victim from dying of old age. In exchange for the infinite number of revivals, the victim's emotions are slowly drained to nourish the user.
Weapon Expert: Kain is expert with most known weapons, from bows to spears and claymores, but his speciality are single-bladed one-handed katanas.
Yliaster[]
Yliaster: Relic of Kain is his jacket, Yliaster. It is proven to be nearly indestructible, and been able to restore itself when cut or damaged.
- Armory: Magical Power Kain uses with Yliaster: Ability is woven into his coat, which allows Kain to store and draw different weapons in moments notice seemingly out of nowhere. Combined with his Enchantment, this makes a lethal combination.
